The Secret Bee

This isn't your typical bee.  Here's how it works:

1)  Each bee has an Instagram group chat.  Each month the Queen Bee is removed from the group.  

2). You attend a montly group Zoom meeting, without your Queen, where your group decides what block gets made and what fabrics get used.  If someone likes Tula, for example, but some members have no Tula stash, the group works together to either incorporate solids or whatever the group decides.  

3). This is based off your social media feed (which has to be public and remain public), so the more you post, the more they know you!

4).  Blocks are shipped.  

5).  The previous Queen is added back into the group and the new Queen is removed.

6).  The bee will run from January to June 2027.  Each group will be comprised of six Bee Members.  The members of each bee decide how big or how many blocks are made for the Queen.

There's not specific sizes or amount of blocks for this bee!  You will all decide this amongst your bee mates.  Your blocks are up to the Hive!  If you want FPP mixed with traditional, just traditional, etc... all the things are open because there's no real "quilt" to make.  It's the quilt YOU make COLLECTIVELY!

Each month one of the Worker Bees will act as Hive Mother.  The Hive Mother of the month will set up the zoom.  Start the group chat and moderate it.  Ensure all the blocks have been sent to the Queen Bee.  Basically do the work for keeping the Hive on task.
