Shipping policy

These prices are approximate.  If your order can be shipped for less, we will refund any shipping cost overages of $1 or more. But we will never ask you to pay more than what you were quoted.  We DO NOT make any money on shipping charges.

 

How fast do you ship?

Pretty darn fast. We have the advantage of being located across the street from the post office.

On MWF, expect that if you order before 3pm PST, your order will go out the same day. And most of the time, it's within an hour or so.

On Saturday, If you get your order in before 12pm PST it will ship same day.

If it's Tues or Thursday, before 3pm, we will ship same day, around 4-5pm PST.

We don't ship on Sundays.

If your order is BIG, as in 40+ yards, it will ship within two days, because we bring these orders to UPS.

Preorders are a different story!  If your order contains a preorder on it, it will ship when the preorder ships.  If you need part of your order to ship now, please place two orders:)

 

 

 

What's your packaging like?

First things first, occasionally shipping requires us to fold a layer cake in half or breakdown a bundle to ship it the most economic route. In that case, we send the original packaging, so it can be put back together again.  If you would prefer that we don’t do that, please let us know.  We can invoice you for the product along with the upgraded shipping cost.  

Now onto the main question. Well, we pack to save money and trees. Most of the time, we ship in a padded flat rate envelope/box from USPS. Your fabric is place in a sealed bag within this envelope. If your order won’t fit in any of the flat rate packaging from USPS, we will ship it in a standard cardboard box. This is could be an amazon box, a fabric manufacturer box, literally any clean box we have in house.  Again, we don’t make money on shipping. And we sincerely try to keep shipping costs as low as they can go. 

Can you combine shipping? Refund for shipping fees?

If you placed your order and then you want to add to it, contact us ASAP! Because, like I said, we ship FAST! We will gladly combine those orders and refund you your money if we haven't already shipped the original order.

So let's say your order is tiny, like a needle minder, or 1/4yd of fabric. If the cost of packaging/shipping fees, is less than the flat rate shipping fees we charge by $1 or more, we will refund you the overages. We DO NOT make any money on shipping fees.

I don't like the fabric I received, or it's the wrong color, or …?

Sorry, we don't accept returns, unless it's something egregious on our part. For example, we listed it as a quilting cotton and it's actually a canvas. Or we sent the wrong item.

And extra fabric in your stash in never a bad thing, right? Right;)
